Youth Sessions - $40
We prefer to use the term “sessions” rather than “riding lessons” because we strive to educate our students on so much more than simply riding horses. We teach total horse handling and ownership. Students learn how to care for horses including: grooming, tacking up, riding, untacking, feeding, groundwork, and so much more. We believe that in order to ride these magnificent animals, we have to completely understand them and what goes into caring for them. This is also why sometimes our sessions are not under saddle, but actually involve groundwork such as working in the roundpen and in-hand activities. We find that this holistic approach to our sessions provides an abundant benefit to the students. Interacting with horses on this level teaches our youth so much more than riding. It equips them with skills that are applicable to all aspects of life, such as:
Adult Sessions - $40
Our adult sessions operate the same as our youth sessions and our adult students experience the same benefits.
Disciplines
If you are seeking assistance in a specific discipline, we offer lessons in a variety of disciplines both English and Western. We can also travel and come to you and your horse (travel fees apply). We have beginner lesson horses available, but also love to work with you and your horse! We are able to travel to you, but travel fees may apply.
