From the Ground Up is a 6-week youth horsemanship program designed to build confident, capable young horsemen by focusing on the essential foundations that make everything else possible.
Rather than focusing on riding, we focus on the skills that make riding possible.
This structured program develops safety awareness, communication, emotional regulation, leadership, and respect — creating thoughtful horsemen from day one.
What Students Will Learn
Throughout the 6 weeks, students will develop:
• Safe, confident horse handling skills
• Awareness of personal space and equine body language
• The ability to read and respond to horse behavior
• Clear, calm communication through groundwork
• Leadership rooted in steadiness rather than force
• Obstacle navigation and movement control
• Emotional regulation around large animals
Each week builds intentionally upon the last, creating measurable growth and visible transformation.
The Experience
Students progress through carefully layered skills, gaining confidence and clarity as they learn how to influence a horse’s feet, focus, and energy from the ground.
The program concludes with a Leadership Showcase, where students demonstrate their skills for family and celebrate their growth.

Program Details
Length: 6 Weeks
Session Length: 2 Hours
Ages: 7+
Small group format to ensure safety, individual feedback, and meaningful progress.
Open enrollment. Limited spots available to maintain a small, intentional group experience.
Investment
Program Tuition: $295
A $75 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a student’s spot.
The remaining balance is due two days prior to the program start date.
Because enrollment is intentionally limited, a non-refundable deposit secures your child’s place in the program.
